Dr.
Brian Sullivan is Board Qualified in Foot and Ankle surgery
as well as Rearfoot Reconstructive surgery and planning to sit
for board certification in 2009. His professional affiliations
include The American Board of Podiatric Surgery, American Podiatric
medical Association and The New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society.
He
is an active Staff member at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Hoboken
University Medical Center, Bayonne Medical Center and the Center
for Ambulatory Surgery in Mountainside. Dr. Sullivan is also
active in the Podiatric Residency Programs at both St. Barnabas
and Hoboken University Medical Centers and sits for the Residency
Selection committees for both programs. Dr Sullivan also serves
on the credentialing committee of the Center for
Ambulatory Surgery.
Dr.
Sullivan obtained his undergraduate degree in Natural Science
from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH. He then received
his doctorate from The New York College of Podiatric Medicine
in NY, NY. Upon graduation, Dr. Sullivan completed a three
year surgical residency at St. Barnabas Medical Center in
Livingston, NJ.
Immediately
after Residency completion in 2003, Dr. Sullivan joined Foot
and Ankle Physicians. He enjoys all aspects of both elective
surgical and general Podiatry, but also specializes in foot
and ankle trauma and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Sullivan
has also participated in a multi-center major pharmaceutical
trial as a sub-investigator in the treatment of diabetic neuropathic
ulcers.
Dr.
Sullivan lives in Scotch Plains with his wife Kristen, who
is a Doctor of Internal Medicine and his wheaten terrier,
Brady.
