Biography of Dr. Jonathan Sorkin
     Dr. Jonathan Sorkin has practiced in Bayonne and Jersey City since 1985. He received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and was graduated with honors Cum Laude from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1984. His postgraduate residency training was completed at Gouverneur Hospital, part of the City of New York Health and Hospital Corporation.

    During this time, he was also appointed assistant clinical instructor at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Sorkin is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine (Orthopedics division) and currently a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics and Medicine. His professional affiliations include memberships to the American Podiatric Medical Association and the New Jersey Podiatric Medical Society. He enjoys treating patients of any age through all aspects of podiatric medicine, surgery, and general care.

    Dr. Sorkin married his wife, Carol, in 1981 and they have three sons. One is studying Communications at Ramapo College of NJ, one at the University of Delaware studying Health and Exercise Science, and one attending the East Brunswick Public Schools.
Dr. Sorkin is a Diplomat, American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. Dr.Sorkin practice's from the Bayonne and Jersey City offices.
