Biography of Dr. Michael Lerner

     Dr. Lerner graduated from Rutgers University in 1979 where he received his bachelors degree in biological sciences. He attended the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in 1983 receiving his doctor of podiatric medicine degree cum laude. He completed his residency training in podiatric surgery at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, New York.
    
      Dr. Lerner has participated in numerous clinical research trials sponsored by pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the field of diabetic foot ulcerations and specializes in the treatment of diabetic foot complications.
He is also board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Society.
Dr. Lerner is a Diplomat, American Board of Podiatric Surgery Fellows of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr.Lerner practice's from the Union and Jersey City, New Jersey offices.
